Eksplorasi Singapura: Ann Siang Road & Club Street (Part 2)

Although we didn't manage to try the cakes in Kki, we managed to try the cakes from Le Chocolat Cafe. It located right next to The Club so I though the price of the cake will be damn expensive. Turns out it was around $5 - $8 each. Quite an okay-price for a decent cake.

We ended up going to 313 Somerset too and spent more than 2 hours in Honeymoon Dessert. Fun fact, I've been spending my weekends in this dessert restaurant. Their Mango Sago is like the bomb, but for last week I ordered Watermelon Grassjelly instead (I forgot the exact name but basically its just a watermelon, and a grassjelly). I tried their Durian Pancake and it was really good.

Eksplorasi Singapura: Ann Siang Road & Club Street

Sigh finally I have the time to post the photos I took last week. Me, Ican, and Manda (yeah the three of us again) went for another 'expedition' around Singapore, and this time we actually made it to Ann Siang Road and Club Street!

Me and Ican took the train from Dhoby Ghaut to Chinatown and I found some random yet amusing stores and stuffs when we are on our way to Ann Siang.

The journey to Club Street was rather short. We just need to cross the road from Chinatown and yeah that's it. I don't really know the place here so Manda and Ican were the one to guide our journey. Firstly we went to this cafe+store, Kki.

We didn't get the chance to try the cakes there but I managed to take some pics of the store. They have this huge collection of polaroid cameras. Not to mention the accessories/books/random stuff there are awesome too.

Lastly we went to this vintage store (I forgot to take note of the name, sorry!) somewhere around Club Street and Ann Siang Rd.

Wait what? No foods?

Wait. Since there are too many photos in this post, I decided to separate our "food journey" and my "normal journey". My next post (which will be up in 15 mins) will be about the foods we ate during our expedition around Ann Siang Road.

I guess this blog will forever be a foodblog lulz.

SHAKING AND CRYING: LOOK WHAT I'VE GOT FROM THE MAILBOX TODAY

I received my Japanese Deluxe Limited Edition version of Gee! Soshigoods gave me a free Nintendo DSi brochure as well lol you guys are awesome! They had this 'clearance sale' a month ago so I decided to get this for $25 (includes shipping) each.

Can't believe that today turns out to be a reaalllyyy fine day for me.

Just because I love them so much.

I know there's a lot of part that got autotuned. I hate this too. But forget it, this is their first (or second) time using it and I need to admit this song is damn effing catchy. Period.

We we we so excited for April 27th.

Lunch and Handburger

School ended so early last Friday so me and Ansley decided to go to LotOne to eat some lunch together. We wanted to eat Sakae Sushi but then the buffet time starts at 3 so we ended up to eat in Pizza Hut Instead.

Chicken pasta something....
Beef lasagna

The price was okay since it was on weekdays and they have this student offer thingy so in the end we only need to pay for $8 for each meal. The food was normal. My favorite food from Pizza Hut will be their Carbonara Pasta but the student offer did not include that meal and I prefer to have Lasagna instead of Spaghetti Carbonara.  The lasagna was not that good either. If I need to pay for more than $10, this meal is no not worth it.

I had a dinner date with Ican and Manda at 313 Somerset's Handburger. Local restaurant, and I need to admit the concept of the restaurant is a bit unique. Basically you can't really eat the burger with your hands. They'll give you a fork and a knife and you need to gently cut the burger to pieces before you munch it in your mouth. Though the process might be confusing, especially if you spend your life eating McDonalds or Burger King,  it was not as frustrating as what I thought. You need to cut it. Its impossible if you think you can shove the whole burger to your mouth. Moreover the interior there are kinda cute too. I love the plates.

Interesting menu
Just a normal lemon tea
Fries fries fries
Handburger's Original
Duck Confit Burger
Chicken Caesar Burger

The burgers were decent. Not as crappy as McDonalds or Burger King but at the same time it wasn't THAT good too. I didn't give the milkshake a try but I think their milkshakes are kinda fine. Its worth the try though to eat in this restaurant. It gives you a whole different meaning for burgers.

Last but not least... Here's a picture Yanis (Foals' member). Manda created this.

Fansites, why are you like that.

I woke up this morning (gotta get my bowl of cereal) and looked around the internet and I found bunch of fansites are pulling a prank on me. Well since I'm new in this fandom, apparently they've been doing this kind of thing annually since last last last years ago. So I took a look on some of the sites (well mostly are SNSD's fansites) and they're all... amajjing.

I'm gonna list down the sites that I think are quite interesting (because some are just plain boring and not funny at all to be honest) and yeah here we go:

Took me a while to realize that Minho's there

One of my favorite, Sica in a watermelon! but anyway LOL

well.....

deeryoona, also known as saseumi dot com (saseum means deer), is now sashimi dot com

HYOTTE WORLD

and last but not least... my favorite from all of them, hyomorous.com!
I recommend you all to click the website, laugh-worthy and the best amongst all of the fansites I've seen

Furthermore, some international fansites also took part in this "event", Soshified pulled us this "Bieber" prank and I need to admit the layout looks fabulous even though Bieber's there....

What's so funny is that DJ Isak (@RealISAK) got fooled by this. She even tweeted that
she almost called Fany when she thought this "Mr Taxi feat. Justin Bieber" thingy is true.

Happy April Fools Day errryonee!

just so you know,  I haven't fell for any pranks until now. Thank god?
